Sprinkler Service Technicians (RME-I)

RESPONSIBILITIES:Service, installation and inspection of water based fire sprinkler systems.Follow verbal and written instructions.Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Kodiak Fire Protection work. Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes.Properly secure all Kodiak Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss.Complete and submit time reports and other documents as required.Bring to the immediate attention of the supervisor all changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair service activities or schedules.May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or away from home to meet customer service requirements.  Perform other duties as directed.QUALIFICATIONS:Working knowledge of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems.Follow verbal and written instructions, read.ReliabilityExperience with Wet/Dry systemsExperience with Air CompressorsMinimum 3 years of experience in the industry.Must have a current license.

Fire Alarm Technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES:Service, installation and inspection of all types of Fire Alarm Systems. Follow verbal and written instructions.Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Kodiak Fire Protection, Inc. work. Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes.Properly secure all Kodiak Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss.Complete and submit time reports and other documents as required.Bring to the immediate attention of the supervisor all changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair service activities or schedules.May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or away from home to meet customer service requirements. Perform other duties as directed.QUALIFICATIONS:Skilled in the use of computers operating in the Windows environment.Experience with CCTV, IRC-3 EST-2 EST-3, FCC, and card access a plus.NICET certification is also a plus.Must have valid drivers license and be able to obtain a PERC card.Follow verbal and written instructions.ReliabilityMust be currently licensed and have a minimum 3 years of experience in the industry.Must know Silent Knight and Fire Lite.
 Fire Extinguisher Technicians

Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as riser room closets and vaults. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Kodiak Fire Protection work. Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes.Properly secure all Kodiak Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss.Complete and submit time reports and other documents as required.Bring to the immediate attention of the supervisor all changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair service activities or schedules.May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or away from home to meet customer service requirements.  Perform other duties as directed.QUALIFICATIONS:Follow verbal and written instructions.ReliabilityMinimum 3 years of experience in the industry.Must have a current Texas Backflow License
